Dark chocolate cookie recipe
On average, Brits eat 52 biscuits and cookies per second. The country loves this tea-time treat so much that 29th May is National Biscuit Day - yes, really! And it comes as no surprise that chocolate is the nation's favourite flavour - after all, who doesn't love chocolate?
To mark the date, we've decided to share with you a quick and easy dark chocolate cookie recipe you can make at home. On this recipe, we used our 75% Dark Single Origin bar, but you can choose any flavour you prefer!
Here's what you need for your dark chocolate cookie recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking soda
- 1 teaspoon of sea salt
- 400 grams of your favourite Eonce dark chocolate chopped
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 180C.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy.
- Blend in the eggs one at a time.
- Add the flour, baking soda, salt and chopped chocolate, and combine.
- Slice the dough and place them 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 15min or until golden brown.
