Dark chocolate cookie recipe

On average, Brits eat 52 biscuits and cookies per second. The country loves this tea-time treat so much that 29th May is National Biscuit Day - yes, really! And it comes as no surprise that chocolate is the nation's favourite flavour - after all, who doesn't love chocolate?

To mark the date, we've decided to share with you a quick and easy dark chocolate cookie recipe you can make at home. On this recipe, we used our 75% Dark Single Origin bar, but you can choose any flavour you prefer!

Here's what you need for your dark chocolate cookie recipe:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of sea salt
  • 400 grams of your favourite Eonce dark chocolate chopped

Method

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180C.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the sugar until fluffy.
  3. Blend in the eggs one at a time.
  4. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and chopped chocolate, and combine.
  5. Slice the dough and place them 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 15min or until golden brown.

Enjoy it!
